Phaylen Fairchild of the DIVAS strikes again! And she is spot on this latest machinima she produced which is an unprecedented storyline produced between Second Life and the World of Warcraft.

I’m no WOW player but still this gets me every time i see it.  It’s hilarious, clever and brilliant!  Hope you enjoy Phaylen’s immaculate direction, acting, voice and production as much as I did.  Kudos Phaylen! :)  Hold on to that Sparkle Pony :P

I produce and choreograph many a fashion shows in Second Life drawn from my real life experiences in event management and production.  And it’s not often that many other fashion shows in Second Life make me go wow but the latest showcase by one of my top favourite designers, CheerNo Destiny, certainly wrapped me up in his imagination and creations.  For those of you who missed it, here it is :)

Fashion moments frozen in time

LOL so blogging is harder than i thought or rather finding time for it.  Well, perhaps my RL birthday and Thanksgiving are reasonable excuses? :P

Well over the weekend before that, my agency AVENUE Models had a huge fashion show called Winterfaire featuring some of the most well known couture designers in Second Life.

This was the ad I created for the show:

The set was created like a winter sim set inside a snowglobe over 4 sims.  The models were on one sim and the other 3 sims housed VIPs and audience.  This build concept I had was creatively realised by my fellow Singaporean and friend Joy Laperriere.

Here are some of my favourite shots of the show by AVENUE photographer Tillie Ariantho:

Mui Mukerji totally rocking it out sometimes with over 16,000 ARC ^^

And to top it all off, the prized audience award goes to Kung Fu-ey Kitty here showing us how to bust a move at the after show party :P

Hello world!

So begins my journey into the blogosphere for good.  It’s taken me awhile since I have been busy with establishing myself and my company in Second Life over the past 2 years and being caught up with work-related blogs.

Well, I have no idea what prompted me to start yet another blog lol but since I started my pet blog The Art of Androgyny 3 days ago, it seems that I have been bitten by the blog bug.  What triggered or inspired me to start blogging seriously?…Was probably after I watched that charming film, Julie & Julia.

And what is my motive for blogging? I’m not quite sure as yet.

Unlike Julie & Julia which started with a mission…I guess I am merely exploring…embarking on a new journey as you will. Finding an outlet of expression like most people and perhaps even finding my joy in writing again in all the “busy-ness” of life.

No real agenda at the moment but to have fun and see where the journey takes me.

So join me on this new journey and let’s see where it takes us. :)
